Urrently in its sunrise period, the .eu domain name extension will soon be moved into the open registration period – meaning validation will no longer be required to apply.
You will however still have to qualify as one of the following:
– Have your registered office, central administration or principal place of business within the European community
– Be an organization established within the European Community
– Be a natural person resident within the European Community
.eu domain extensions have been in the sunrise period since 7th December 2005.
