Easyspace employee Alyson Lamond enjoyed the lesson of a lifetime with Got To Dance judge and ex Pussycat Dolls singer Kimberly Wyatt this week as a reward for raising money for Comic Relief.
Alyson, who is a registry administrator and her 14 year old niece Lauren, won an exclusive dance class with Kimberly for taking part in Davina McCall’s #twittermillion campaign for Red Nose Day earlier this year.
Alyson sold homemade cupcakes and jewellery to work colleagues while Lauren encouraged family and friends to support their fundraising efforts. They raised more than £430 and were rewarded with a Tweet from Davina saying they had won a dance lesson with one of the judges of Got To Dance. They met Kimberly at a studio in London this week.
Alyson said: “Kimberly was so lovely. It was fantastic to spend time with her and she gave us some great tips on how to improve our dancing.”
Kimberly said: “Alyson and Lauren were an absolute pleasure to teach. They both already have a solid foundation in dance so we had fun working on strength, flexibility, and choreography to Justin Timberlake’s Suit and Tie.”
At the end of the session Alyson commented: “I’d really like to thank all my work colleagues at Easyspace and all our family and friends for their support for our fundraising. Meeting Kimberly was wonderful and we’re just sorry we couldn’t take everyone with us!”
