Easyspace, the leading UK domain name and web hosting provider, is happy announce the recent accreditation for the .xxx domain name, prior to the official release in September 2011.
Joining recent accreditation for .eu, .me and .tel domain extensions, this latest ICM accreditation will complement Easyspace’ domain portfolio.

If you’re in the adult industry it’s an obvious means of telling internet users what you do, while for other businesses it will be used as a defensive measure to prevent their brands becoming associated with pornography.”
After years of debate and negotiation, ICANN (The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) finally signed a Registry Agreement with ICM Registry 1st April 2011. The .xxx, sponsored by ICM registry, is clearly one of the most sought-after domain names within adult entertainment industry and is widely expected to be one of the largest domain name launches in history.
The .xxx domain name is specifically designated to the adult entertainment industry; however companies and business will be invited to protect their brand during various launch stages. The .xxx registration process will require every registrant to complete an application process endorsed and overseen by the International Foundation for Online Responsibility (IFFOR).
Officially launching in September 2011, Easyspace will be accepting pre-registrations from July 2011 – you are welcome to let them know of your interest from June onwards!
