To further strengthen the security of our systems and protect your data, we are introducing an update to our control panel password policy.
These changes are designed to ensure that all user accounts meet modern security standards and reduce the risk of unauthorised access.
What’s Changing?
From 1st June 2025, all control panel passwords must meet the following complexity requirements:
- Be between 8 and 32 characters in length
- Include at least one uppercase letter
- Include at least one lowercase letter
- Include at least one number
- Include at least one special character (e.g.! @, #, £, etc.)
What This Means for You…
- If you have not accessed your account in the last 18 months and your current password does not meet the new complexity requirements, it will be updated for you.
You will then need to perform a password reset on your next login. Information on how to do this can be found by visiting https://www.yoursupportservices.co.uk/cp/login-dashboard?open=3 - If you have accessed the Control Panel since 1st January 2024 and your current password does not meet the new complexity requirements, you will be prompted to update your password on your next login to ensure it complies with the new policy.
- Going forward, all users will be required to update their password every 6 months. This regular update cycle is a key part of our ongoing commitment to account security.
