From 4pm today (19 Feb) the following seven gTLDs will be available for purchase from Easyspace at https://www.easyspace.com/domain-names/new-gtlds on a first come first served basis:
- .Technology
- .Construction
- .Contractors
- .Directory
- .Kitchen
- .Land
- .Today.
It has been reported that .Technology could be the go-to address for anyone involved with tech such as web developers, web designers as well as technology companies.
This is the third batch of domain name extensions to be issued by Easyspace through its partnership with Donuts which has signed more new gTLD contracts with ICANN than any other registry operator.
You may already have a .COM or a .CO.UK, but if you have a website that relates to one of the above sectors, then having one of these domain extensions could benefit you.
For example, there has already been a lot of interest from people wanting to register a .technology domain name – in particular from companies, education institutes and organisations which are involved in the Technology sector. It’s predicted to be the web address for the tech industry.
