If you use any of the services which Easyspace provides, you will be deemed to have consented to the collection and use of the personal information you submit to Easyspace in the ways described below. Therefore, please read this Policy with care and if you have any questions or comments, e-mail Easyspace at admin@easyspace.com.
1. In order for Easyspace to provide its services to you, including (but not limited to) domain name, website hosting and eCommerce services (the "Services"), Easyspace might ask you to provide it with certain personal information.
2. Any personal information which is collected by Easyspace will be used by Easyspace only in accordance with current data protection legislation.
3. Such personal information will be collected and processed by Easyspace or its agents for the following purposes:
(i) to provide the Services to you;
(ii) administration; and
(iii) marketing, advertising and promotions.
4. Collecting and processing your personal information for the above purposes might entail sharing the information with employees, contractors and professional advisers of Easyspace and/or the employees, contractors and professional advisers of other companies within the Easyspace group of companies [see Service Agreement Clause 8] and sending you unsolicited advertising and promotional material pertaining to other Easyspace products and services and to third party products and services selected by Easyspace [see Service Agreement Clause 18]. Where information is collected from you you will be given the opportunity to inform Easyspace that you do not wish to receive such advertising and promotional material.
5. In the event that Easyspace is acquired, the personal information Easyspace has collected will be considered as part of the company's assets and may, therefore, be transferred to a purchaser.
6. From time to time Easyspace may wish to collect information of a sensitive personal nature from you. In such cases before Easyspace asks you for the information it will inform you of how it intends to use the information and it will ask for your explicit consent.
7. You have the right to ask Easyspace for a copy of the personal information it holds about you (for which Easyspace may charge a small fee), and to correct any inaccuracies in that information.
8. When you visit the Easyspace website, you may be sent a cookie. A cookie is a small file that may be placed on your computer's hard disk for record keeping purposes. It helps Easyspace to recognize you when you visit the Easyspace website and make use of the Services so that the information and content of the website can be tailored to your needs. Easyspace may also use cookies for the compilation of certain statistics relating to the use of the website which do not identify you personally. Such information may include the number of visits, average time spent, web pages accessed, services used and other statistics relating to the website. Where Easyspace does compile such statistics, it may aggregate these statistics for onward transmission to third parties. These statistics will not include any information by which you will be directly identifiable. You may set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the chance to decide whether or not to accept it. (However, if you decide not to accept a cookie, some web pages might not function properly or you might not be permitted to access certain information in relation to the Easyspace website or to conduct online transactions).
9. If Easyspace decides to change its Privacy Policy, it will post such changes on this page so that you are always aware of how Easyspace uses your personal information and in what circumstances it discloses it.
10. As part of its duties as an ICANN accredited domain name registrar, Easyspace is required to provide certain information about customers who register domain names with Easyspace to the relevant naming authority. This information will include personal data such as the customers name, address and telephone number. The relevant naming authority will make such information available to the public through publicly accessible directories of owners of domain names. It is a condition of the purchase of a domain name from Easyspace that the customer agrees to the transfer of his/her personal data to the relevant naming authority and agrees to the naming authority making that personal data available on a public database. Easyspace can provide its customers with details of the relevant naming authority on request.
11. Easyspace reserves the right to pass on your personal information to any law enforcement agencies properly requesting it in connection with the commission of any offense once Easyspace is reasonable satisfied as to the circumstances surrounding the request.
