How do I create a website?
A web site can be created using HTML. HTML can be written using an HTML
Editor or Authoring and Web Development programme. Many editors and authoring
software programmes exist. Below are examples of the most common:

How do I upload my website to my web space?
To start uploading pages to your web hosting space you will need an FTP Client. FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. We recommend using either WS_FTP or CuteFTP as your FTP client. Both these programs can be obtained as shareware and both offer free evaluation versions.
Once you have your FTP Software in place, you will need to obtain 3 pieces of information – which we will provide.
1. Hostname – your domain with Easyspace
2. Username – can be found within your hosting account details
3. Password – can be found within your hosting account details
Notes:
Account information is Case Sensitive so it must be entered exactly.
Take care not to copy in a blank space.
If in doubt about which package you have, please check the instructions
in our setup advice email.
To upload files select the file from your computer and then press the right arrow to transfer it to the server. Easyspace cannot support FTP software that we do not recommend.
How do I buy web hosting for my Easyspace registered domain?
If you have registered a domain but have not bought any web hosting to upload your website files to, you need to purchase hosting. To do this:
1. Login to Easyspace Control Panel
2. Click on the shop link and continue
3. On buying web hosting, you'll be given options to use an existing domain

How do I know which web hosting package suits my needs best?
